Mr and Mrs Claus and the Reindeer Wall Decal Advent Calendar

I bet you’ve never seen an Advent Calendar for kids like this one before! I’m very proud of that.

As an artist and art teacher (recently retired), I’ve worked with kids, unleashing their creativity, for 43 years, both in Scotland and Australia, where I now live.

After collaborating with a wonderful wall decal print lab in Australia, I wanted to offer something a little bit different. My questions made the lovely lady, running this Aussie Wall Decal Company laugh out loud when I asked, in my Scottish accent. “Can you stick a sticker on a sticker”?

The wall decals are totally removable and re-stickable, so my creative brain was already spinning with ideas about ways to use these giant stickers to create magic and wonderlands for kids with my illustrations.

What do you receive:

  • A large background “Winter Wonderland” as the Advent Calendar setting.
  • 25 individual stickers for your children to add, each day, leading up to Christmas from the 1st December to the 25th December.
  • A picture of the final Christmas scene to help your children work out where the individual stickers could go (based on scale). All stickers are removable and replace-able so not a problem to tweak the Christmas scene.

So.. the idea is that you would stick the Winter Wonderland Large Rectangle Sticker onto wall space you have available and low enough down on the wall for little children to add stickers to.

The illustrations are all digitally hand-drawn in watercolours with incredible details. Every day, the scene will come to life, filled with the magic of Christmas and all of the characters.

The whole scene assembled

Unlike most advent Calendars, this one can be re-used every year. Keep the backing paper and place the stickers back on, roll up gently and pop back in the postal tube until next Christmas.

How I Started My Viking Wire Knitting Journey and How I Developed My Own Style of This Ancient Craft I’ve always been drawn to the stories held  within ancient design — the craftsmanship of cultures where jewellery wasn’t just decorative, but deeply grounded in identity, ritual, and  connnection. It’s the rawness, the imperfection, the quiet  beauty of something made by hand that continues to inspire me to create the jewellery designs that I make.
